I can happily say that Fiddle Knits Designs is going to be a part of the Fresh Design Series that Cooperative Press is currently raising money to produce. Yours truly contributed a design to 2 of the 10 books in the collection. Watch the video linked below and you will get to see some of the gorgeous designs that will appear in Fresh Designs.

WHAT IS FRESH DESIGNS?
Fresh Designs is a series of books that Cooperative Press has been working on for the past year. Each title (Hats, Scarves, Sweaters, etc) features patterns by emerging designers. As with our other titles, we'll also release digital and e-book editions. We've had great success thus far with digital editions, especially overseas.
We need money up front to cut our overall production costs, and to fund other book projects (such as Beyond Knit and Purl and Extreme Double Knitting) so they can be released before the fiber arts industry's largest trade show in June 2011. You know that old saying "you need to spend money to make money"? Nowhere is this more true than in publishing.
Having capital on hand will allow us to do a better job on bringing these books to market faster, and it will also help us raise additional capital locally.
